Doll Faces

My grandmother took a trip to Central America. One of the dolls she brought back was this handmade doll from Guatemala.

Her body is composed of wire covered with paper while her face is made from a nylon fabric. Her little baby that she carries on her back is also wire and paper. The clothing is hand-spun, handwoven fabric. The basket on her head at one time had fruit in it.
