Doll Faces

In Norse mythology, there is a goddess named Idunna associated with youth and fertility. She was often depicted with apples.

Modern artists have frequently rendered her as a young girl. This ceramic is by 'Candy Designs' of Norway, and is based on the work of Carl Larsson (1853 - 1919). Carl was a Swedish painter who depicted his daughter Brita as Idunna.
